He crossed that line years ago.

It would make the day even holier.
There’s a huge problem with staffing and insurance bullshit in the medical field. 20 years ago, if I got sick I could see my GP usually the same day. Now it takes months to get an appointment, so people go to urgent care or the ER.
A doctor friend explained to me years ago a huge part is insurance companies. He explained that if he prescribed an MRI, he personally had to speak to an adjuster on the phone that had a literal timer requiring them to be on the phone for 20 minutes. They want to inconvenience the doctors into not prescribing procedures or medicines that cost more money.
I mean - it already takes months to get an appointment. If they schedule even fewer patients I don’t see that improving either.

When people are struggling to get by and exhausted from the news, they end up focusing on themselves. The reality is most Americans don’t have the energy, time, or resources to focus on something that’s disconnected from their lives - including attrocities on the other side of the planet.
But gas prices hit HARD. When you’re spending 20-30% of your income on gas and the price of that gas doubles, it’s a problem even before it makes everything else skyrocket in price.

I swear to God that Word exists to make us feel better about Outlook.

You ask people online and get 78 different answers, then get caught up in decision paralysis and stick with windows.

I took it as “I voted against a bill that would cut off defensive munitions funding but not offensive munitions funding.”

Yeah, but how far will it go if you try to power it with gasoline?
Well at least it’s a calm, painless illness prior to death, right?
I lost access to my PSN account because they want me to do third-party verification with an authorization app that I apparently had linked to it like a decade ago, but don’t know what it was.
Their alternative verification is to verify purchase histories on my PSN account, which is hard to do when the whole problem is I can’t access my PSN account.
Good thing rabies is easily treatable if you don’t bother with testing, right?

Public funding of unbiased news is complicated. That can very easily turn into propaganda if the government can decide what is or is not biased. In fact, any arbiter of bias can turn it into propaganda. But if there’s nobody who can regulate it, then biases will go unchecked, all while being paid for.
I don’t know where the balance is. PBS is great, but I think it’s because their funding also includes private donations from individuals who value their product.

There’s a lot of rot, but they’ve been depending on a cluster of personality. Those often collapse when the personality dies without a sucessor with popular support, which requires the cult leader to groom the public to their sucessor.
The thing with Trump is he has too much ego for that, and Vance doesn’t have the loyalty of the MAGA militant.

Claudius wasn’t 2nd in command. He was way down the list.
And the first thing he did as emperor was execute some of the Praetorians for being overzealous when cleaning house.

I mean… the first instance of that was replacing Caligula with Claudius. It just kinda went south after that.
I just do January first of however far it goes with a quick swipe.
The distressing part is how that’s shifted from saying I’m way older than I am to saying I’m way younger than I am.

There was 9 years between the release of the 360 and the Xbox One. Might was well do the same thing this generation.
Aren’t the leaps 2-way? Do I remember it wrong (I haven’t watched since it first aired).
I thought when Sam leaped into someone, they were pulled into his body in the future.
