One of the reasons I use foreign currency for that, I’ll never use it for anything else and it’s fun to whip out a Soviet Ruble bill or a Vietnamese đồng bill. The latter having been a great source of laughter when someone asks if anyone has something to snort with and I say “Yeah, use my dong!” and then actually pull something out and it’s what I said, just not what was expected.
Not that I was ever an addict or heavy user of anything snortable, but had an almost biweekly use for them during my 20s-30s. Still happens sometimes but more like twice a year, if even that.

Don’t use bills, that is nasty and handled by people who don’t wash their hands after they shit. Who doesn’t have some junk mail sitting around they can cut up and roll all the same?

If you’re concerned about who handles dollar bills, wait until you learn about who handles cocaine.

Or just use straws. Cut them up in to thirds. They are cheap. You don’t have to share them.

also stop using razors on glass surfaces. Use plastic. You are less likely to scratch glass. You don’t want glass in your system.

Or just use straws. Cut them up in to thirds.

Takes me back to a random night where some (ex?) co workers and I were hanging out all night being stupid. One of those evenings where it just goes and stretches out. Went to pub. Went to Karaoke Bar. Ended up at someone’s house. They bust out the coke. I have never done coke. I have no objection to coke. If there’s one thing I took away from FALIV, it’s that you are meant to respect drugs, and understand their fucking effects properly before doing them.

I am in the middle of an awful depressive episode. I’m curious about coke, and I am in the ideal circumstance to do it : in a safe home, surrounded by people I’ve known for years. But the mindset is not there. I know there’s an “upper, then downer” effect, and I am not interested in the downer part, since I already have my depression acting up.

They start doing the coke the most British IT nerd fucking way I could have ever imagined. Off plates, using cut up plastic straws. Everyone has several cut up straws and there’s plenty to spare. One of the tells us the story of why it is that you need to not use money.

He’s into the club scene. He goes to Ibiza and stuff like that. One time he did his thing, snorted some coke using money. Didn’t think about it. Then he had a breakout of sores covering his nose and lips (where he put the cash). He goes to the doctor, and finds out that’s why that’s been happening.

We spend the night chatting shit, (them) doing coke, eating stupid junk food, going out at 5am for energy drinks and fags, and taking the first train home.

I might have smoked or not smoked any combination of weed and or tobacco.

        Fun night.

Oh no. That bill has been between someone’s cheeks.

Thank you for sharing your story.

I’m glad you enjoyed it, thank you for writing a reply too. Sometimes it’s fun just to write/tell a story for the sake of it, and getting positive feedback makes it feel like I did a good job at it as well as getting to express myself.

I don’t do it anymore, but back when I was a young man I had a short metal straw, a metal credit card looking thing (not sharp, it crushed things more than chopping them), an aluminum tray, and a snuff vial with a tiny spoon.

Do people open your envelopes before they get to you and touch the mail inside in the middle of their day to day activities?

And yes, relative to paper currency, even envelopes are handled significantly less. However, I’m not talking about envelopes, I didn’t think that had to be said.

Its made by soaking leaves in gasoline, stomping on them with dirty logs and feet, and pouring on lime and concrete after that mush has dried. Don’t worry too much about what you snort it with.

No matter how many times you run it over the edge of a table, you can still tell it’s been rolled up.

But I’ve never met a bartender that cared. Usually, I get a wink and a smile.
