I disagree. I have been reading up on the Spanish mission system and have multiple times been shocked by how even secular progressives will whitewash the missions to the end of the earth.

You can’t really compare the Vatican to WW2. But if you did, imagine if the axis powers still existed and got to keep most of their territories while telling their neighbours they just wanted peace but also promoting their generals and crimes as heroic and necessary.

Also, don’t anyone else feel statements like these are hugely hypocritical? The catholic church has benefited from the waging of war against non-christians for most of it’s history to the point previous churchmen has created entire theologies of justified war. Besides, Bob Gimlin has denied it being a hoax for all this time as well, so it’s two claims against each other. In fact, even most skeptics accepted that Gimlin was truthful and was fooled by Roger Patterson.

If you are aware that “Bigfooters” and the bigfoot hunting community exists, this will likely be the biggest bombshell that has EVER hit the bigfoot community besides the Patterson-Gimlin footage itself.
