I mean there is some hint of defense in this meme, and people definitely do jump to Valve’s defense, but I read it differently. I read it as a complaint that all these companies keep making the dumbest sounding ideas and are pissing people off. Like Sony removing the PC tag across all their sites today.
Like yes they’re corporations just trying to make money, but frustrated fans are frustrated and rightly so.

Some “creators” have noticed people pick up on the lack of compression and such and now add a filter specifically to try and bypass more detection. Or they’ll place it at night to hide things.
Maybe at where you are but around me it’s a full mix of 18 on up. Part of it is society let them hold us with health insurance and a roof so young people literally would be risking their lives. People are just starting to figure that out. And figure out how they actually need to do the risking. I know it’s slow and wish it could be quicker, but I’ll take people doing something and trying over nothing. And like I said, at the protests around me people always ask “okay, what more can we do?”
It’s absolutely AI. Lines just randomly appear and disappear in the curtains. The columns behind him change colour halfway up because AI has no object permanence. The real office doesn’t have columns at all in any pic I’ve ever seen (not there at least). The scaling is weird in a way a normal camera wouldn’t be. It’s got that AI uncanny valley colour grading, and the face integrates too directly with the brain to be a quick gimp job. The stuff on the desk are also a hodgepodge of items from different eras that you don’t usually see together, the exact kind of averaging your expect from AI.
I don’t mean to attack you personally, we all get duped on occasion. I’m just so used to it being AI posted on purpose I just default to attack mode now. My B.
Around me people have used to protests to find people for groups that take more active continual action such as forming unions or working on strikes. Anyone who says not to protest doesn’t see that this is Americans working on figuring out how to stand up for themselves again. You can’t expect that many people to instantly switch from passive being told nothing they do matters to full on fight mode
I’m personally expecting the largest turnout yet. Around me several small towns are hosting a protest march this time around so even more people who can’t travel far can get in on it.
Mine’s been basically dairy free for a while. My wife is allergic to cow dairy so I use a bechamel made with oat milk. I do sprinkle in some pecorino but I bet I could get the exact same salty umami notes with msg or something.
