It reminds me of when, in his first term, a wheelchair bound veteran gave Trump his Purple Heart, and Trump’s response, if I remember correctly, was, “I’ve always wanted one of these.”
Trump couldn’t even pretend to care about the veteran and just made it about himself.

I saw an article about an artist who used AI just for overall composition, and who said that he couldn’t compete if he didn’t do this, because everyone in his field was doing it and it was significantly faster than what he used to do.
I suspect that when people say things like “AI cannot possibly help field X be more efficient like it does in field Y,” what they often really mean is, “I work in field Y and not field X.”

What they did in Venezuela was so reprehensible that this is really the only possible defense. You can’t murder a bunch of innocent people to capture a drug trafficker and think that you get the moral high ground. If they can arrest Maduro and bring him to the US, then Venezuela should be able to arrest Trump for murder and bring him to Venezuela.
There is no moral high ground. There is no good outcome. This is just what happens when evil people gain control of the world’s most powerful military.
The sad thing is that people don’t even argue points. I wish people who lacked knowledge and wisdom would argue. Instead, they just rebroadcast whatever propaganda they were fed most recently, untroubled by anything like critical thinking or introspection, and mostly unchallenged by their peers.

“I don’t think it’s a coincidence that as soon as I finished an interview speaking on Venezuela, I was arrested – the only person arrested out of 200 people,” she told the outlet.
Imagine that. 200 protesters, but she was the only one obstructing a roadway. That must have been crazy. 199 protesters safely protesting and this one crazy lady out in the road. /s
I suspect that the louder a person talks, the more likely they are clueless about the topic.

If a home invader breaks into your house, and kidnaps your sister, then says, “I’m taking her out to my van. I’ll be right back to kidnap you next,” you’d be freaking out, yes, but it would be weird to say that you’re freaking out because of the precedent.

Just because they’re man-made distinctions doesn’t mean that they cannot be discussed or don’t have beginnings.

The Epstein files already have revealed allegations of infanticide against Trump.
But realistically, Trump’s personality doesn’t require him to compare the two things. He has one thing that he doesn’t want to do and it makes him look weak. And then he thinks people might be distracted if he does this other thing that he really really wants to do, anyways.
We’re lucky somebody must have kept Trump from dropping nuclear bombs on Venezuela.

What’s not funny is that Elon Musk is CEO of a space travel company and what you’re describing he’s doing is almost the same thing that caused HAL 9000 to go insane in 2001: A Space Odyssey.

In countries where the military is aggressively attacking non-combatants in other countries, their war criminal leaders are the most legitimate targets imaginable.
Life isn’t exactly like chess, in that in life, it’s not always enough to eliminate the king. But, if you keep eliminating king after king until somebody reasonable assumes control, it seems like the least bloody way to end conflict.

“This arrangement, now in place for 236 years, has served the country well,” Roberts wrote in the report, which was released by the Supreme Court hours before the start of the new year.
“It was only when I started giving Trump all of the power that is supposed to lie in the Supreme Court that the arrangement started to fail,” Roberts continued. “I thought I could get an even greater position of power by kowtowing to the demands of Trump, but now he says that my ass isn’t as supple as it used to be, and that I keep losing concentration when I’m servicing him. But what can I do? He keeps falling asleep in the middle. Justice Thomas said the same thing. I knew people had said that with Trump, loyalty is a one-way street, but it’s shocking to experience it myself. I used to have all the power in the world, but now I just really feel used by this whole ordeal.”

China has extremely tough restrictions about what information can legally leave the country, so I wouldn’t be surprised if China has a similar restrictions as this for the US.

I’ve often thought about buying a sailboat and traveling around the world. Now seems like a bad time, though, since the US military will murder people just on suspicion of crimes.

I bought it because everybody said it was good. I’ve tried playing it several times, and I can completely understand that it’s good, but I always end up abandoning it before a year is up in game.

The US military has had many incidents where it was sloppy as shit. I wouldn’t completely write off the idea that they might just be a lot more incompetent than most people think.

Didn’t you hear how many wars he ended? There was the, uhhh, Albania-Azerbaijan war, the uhh, Israel-Palestine war that he completely ended moments before they started a new completely different war. Also Robot Wars and Storage Wars. And many others behind the scenes, so that from the outside, he seems to have done nothing at all.
One reason that people are stupid is because rich people need slave labor, so they set up a system where people don’t learn to think for themselves.
