Shooting at a moving car is a no-no because it doesnt stop it and can cause more damage if you hit the driver and they lose control
Pointing a gun at anyone you dont intend to kill is as well

Seeing this coincidentally. I may be wrong about the immobilizer but even having one aspect of the car fail could cause issues if the person isnt expecting it, especially if they are already speeding. Also theres no saying if there could have been physical sabotage to the car or that he was driving something with issues like a recent honda (steering rack issues that cause them to lock up)

Cars don’t explode like in movies
It’s also a huge vulnerability that modern cars have internet connections and could easily trigger the immobilizer or drive it into a wall

It often makes up non existent vulnerabilities. I think it was curl getting flooded with fake vulnerability reports which drowns out real reports, esp because it can take time to parse through the code or run the poc
I started investing months ago so I’m fine/ in the green overall, but still sad to see. Foresaw the inflationary policy

They dogpiled a dude with 6 guys and then executed him, and magdumped his corpse

I can’t find it right now but if I could I’d post the one about the ancient greek or roman dude with a interest in ships that would watch them enter and leave port and knew each one by name

I doubt any of their lawyers believe a single thing they say, but if it gets the courts and lawmakers to side with them, then they’ll say it. Most individuals don’t have the capital to fight it, so building up a ton of evidence beforehand to use if they have to defend against one of those lawsuits is probably a good strategy, even if it means holding off on publicly disclosing the solutions and fixes for now

Sharing the fix is what lands you in prison, in part because of dmca. The company arguments include circumvention under dmca, protecting copyright holders, that its “illegal hacking” (its not, its reverse engineering) and that no one wants to do it. This is tangible evidence that there are devices which were sold working, were remotely bricked, and could and would be working today if customers had ownership of the products that they paid for, and it can be done without proprietary information of the companies
When Trump said we would get tired of winning, I didnt realize it meant getting tired of winning Kalshi bets on the degradation of our country
Then again I won $7 betting that she’d get removed
