I use KaraKeep for this and couldn’t be happier.

I haven’t used FairScan (yet!), how does it compare to OSS Document Scanner? Other than having a much much better name, obviously.

Yeah, that mess was quite disappointing. I’m still waiting for them to make a clarifying statement on it. I suppose removing it and just not getting further involved in politics is at least “better” than continuing to double down.

That’s fair. The community seems to be much more sane than the original dev and is working hard to clean it up. The first release already removed the telemetry and the obnoxious donation button.
