Forever. I’m sorry.

yeah, standing up for your right to privacy makes you a criminal now. You got it chief.

Idk what you want from me. I don’t like those people, I’m just really tired of living in fascism and don’t like the idea of revolution. Not accusing you of doing this here but the flip side of this is that people in these discussions tend to treat me like I’m the king of the Democrats and am personally responsible for them running shitty candidates. Unfortunately I’m just some guy who thinks you have to play it as it lies. Like, in the context of a general election, where you actually do have two defined choices, what does “demanding better” actually mean? I can see I’m rambling now so I’m gonna stop. I gotta go to work anyway but this shit is just so frustrating to me.

That is, pardon my language, fucking stupid. We do deserve better from the Democrats, my only stance here is if it keeps someone from voting in the general election they’re cutting off their nose to spite their face.

The time to demand better is literally any other time than when you get to choose between fetid neoliberalism and full throated fascism. The fact that the DNC fucked us all by, among other things, not having a primary doesn’t change the fact that Harris would have been preferable, even though she sucks.

20 years ago I might have said you shouldn’t punch a kid for saying Nazi shit, because he doesn’t understand what he is saying and is probably just being edgy. By 2016 I was pretty on board with punching Nazis. In 2026, while I still would not punch a child because I am an adult, that’s about as far as I will go with that statement. Kid did good.

EV fires make the news because fire departments often struggle to put them out.
ironically I often forget to eat and get trapped in binge/fast cycles unless I painstakingly log every single thing I eat.

Honestly it’s where I’d send it if I was doing a propaganda op. It’s a show of Danish excess capacity, it makes sense to target it at an area that supports Trump. You could do New York I guess, but Mamdani being mayor muddies the optics. Corpus Christi is like a top ten conservative city, it’s a port, and it’s got a ton of people who are underserved. CC is perfect. Roll up with 1000 beds and offer free medical care at a Danish standard, more or less, and start publishing people’s stories about how they can’t get basic care.
Kinda like the Vulcan Bridge. If you embarrass the hell out of Uncle Sam he’ll eventually do the right thing.
The Taliban kicked our asses with IEDs and Soviet surplus. And besides, look at what happened in Iraq. They don’t have to win for us to lose.

Maersk has the opportunity to help the Danish government do the funniest thing
Edit: the more I think about this the more I wish they would, but it’d probably take 3 years and cost half a billion euro to bring a new hospital ship online. I wonder if they could borrow one from somebody. Fill it with European medical staff, send it to Corpus Christi. Start treating us like the developing nation we are.
Praying for Jesus seems sacreligious.
I mean we’ll really alienate them. Y’all aren’t happy with us right now, because we’re acting a fool, but we aren’t out in the cold yet.
“Things are never so bad that they cannot be made worse.”
The geography alone will prove problematic. And even if they lose, that doesn’t mean we win. I say we, I mean “The United States.” It will be expensive, we won’t achieve our geopolitical objectives, we’ll alienate our allies, I seriously can’t think of what is actually in it for the US.
I don’t know if the us military is ready to occupy Iran, but just off the top of my head there are several reasons we (the US as a nation) will find it more difficult than Iraq:
This is a non exhaustive list but take it from this American with a passing interest in geography, invading Iran would be monumentally stupid. I think a failed invasion might be the best outcome. Like Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam, all rolled into one massive clusterfuck. A “successful occupation” would probably collapse us once and for all.
I’m fucked, Ebola Pie is my given name and I have never lied on the Internet. Luckily my email is safe, though. All of those are securely encrypted with a decoder ring I got out of a cereal box when I was 9.
