So, how fast would you have to go to get green?
Ok never mind I looked it up. 197,640,000 km/hr

You don’t have to look at everything in terms of individual responsibility. We can clearly see that the injustices caused by transatlantic slavery, and imperialism more broadly, are very much still here. I think it would be nice to try to remedy this.
Of course, it’s non-binding, and the countries that should probably be paying reparations just happen to have all abstained (except for the rogue USA of course, voting against) so I don’t expect anything will happen. But it’s a nice idea.

When I was a kid, I thought this line was a joke

The boomers sure did go downhill. From protesting the Vietnam war, to believing slop on facebook…

I was listening to a podcast about dead internet theory the other day, and they talked about some studies that were finding the the internet in general is near 50% bot activity now. I’m sure twitter is much worse than the average.

Honestly surprised to learn that they were still supporting 7-8.1 until now.

Here’s another thing I noticed. A little farther down, it mentions they interviewed “dozens” of people, and that this represents a significant portion of all available testimonial evidence. Of course they attribute this to the Chinese government trying to keep information from getting out.
Here’s the thing: there’s absolutely no way they could be that successful in keeping this hidden. Just look at Gaza. It’s tiny, literally walled in, and israel all the best tech for oppression and surveillance (it’s like their whole thing) plus the infinite money glitch via the USA. And still, we have countless videos of the horrors perpetrated against Palestinians. Xinjiang is HUGE, and there are something like 10 million Uyghurs. Stuff would absolutely get out.

Thanks for your contribution, the
worldWest largely disagrees but neat!
FTFY
This is from 2019, but is one of the few articles I found actually listing countries, instead of just saying “51 UN member states” with no further detail. Do take a look at the respective lists. No conclusions are drawn, but it’s interesting nonetheless: https://thediplomat.com/2019/07/which-countries-are-for-or-against-chinas-xinjiang-policies/

So right off the bat, the executive summary goes
Since 2017, under the guise of a campaign against “terrorism”,
So this “terrorism” did actually happen, I’m not sure why it’s in quotes, for example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_2014_Ürümqi_attack
Note the reference at the top to another incident only one month earlier. Unfortunately there were several more.
This tone certainly suggests a foregone conclusion, but anyway. It goes on to describe various abuses, do they amount to genocide? They sure wouldn’t if israel was the perpetrator, but I guess when it’s China we can throw around the G word no problem. Perhaps I can give it more scrutiny later, gotta work now.

I really don’t think China is committing a genocide on the Uyghurs, the story just doesn’t hold up to scrutiny.
I would be concerned about Boris wrecking a perfectly good foyer. Maybe put at the end of your street, leaning on a tree, just make sure the neighbors know what he is, but not who put him there.

That’s good to hear, I hope they go through with it.
Regarding the NDP, saying the things that regular Canadians are saying, but in government, is kind of their job though.
I work at a print shop and produce business cards all the time, like two or three different business card orders on a typical day. Most of my customers are in finance.

Regular Canadians sure, but are the other parties saying it? Because if the cons want to keep the contract and the Liberals are quiet, the the NDP is indeed standing out.

Maduro’s leadership is a helluva lot more legitimate than the orange pedophile.
Yea, probably… That, or they’ll blockade the St Lawrence and starve them out.
Perhaps the island of Montreal could hold out as a revolutionary enclave against the facist theocracy.

Have they even presented any evidence whatsoever that there were drugs on these boats?
The media keeps saying “suspected drug boats”, which makes it sound like they actually kind of care who they’re murdering, but I’m not convinced that’s the case. Maybe “imagined drug boats” would be more apt.
The attack began with an airburst munition exploding above the vessel and killing nine crew members. The two men who survived were then visible floating in the water.
So, there were eleven people on this small boat. Why the fuck would you have 11 people on a smuggling boat? No, this is just a random terrorist attack, perpetrated by the notorious terrorist organization know as “the US military”.
The US has been the main villain ever since they inherited the role from the British. None of this is surprising if you’ve been paying attention.
