I could just use a bare web server but I’d have to scp the images over every time.
Or just make a script and hotkey the script! https://drkt.eu/files/scripts/media_tool.py
I can easily push gigabit speeds out of a Pentium G3220 running OPNSense so that sounds like a virtualization performance issue.

It is my understanding that all of the ballooning DB is room states, something that you can’t really prune. What exactly are you pruning from the DB?
No, that makes sense.
I see a lot of people disable it because they assume it’s inherently insecure. Just wanted to check if that was the reason.
Why disable IPv6?

Matrix is pretty lightweight if you use something like Conduit or its spinoffs for a homeserver instead of Synapse, which is very heavy.

I look at this list and cry a little bit inside. I can’t imagine having to maintain all of this as a hobby.

All of you bragging about 100+ containers, please may in inquire as to what the fuck that’s about? What are you doing with all of those?

You are just not going to stop pushing this, are you? I’m glad you’ve learned not to associate your platform with crypto, but I still don’t trust you and I don’t want to reiterate how this WILL become a childporn haven when you don’t have wide-spanning moderation.
Also your SSL cert is expired and the website is broken besides.

I’m sorry if I offended your favorite company or whatever this is about

I’m gonna make a small reach here but are you willing to defend Andy Yen’s pro-trump stance? If not, why are you giving Nanook shit for saying fuck Proton?

a priority inbox without all the pesky notification clutter.
Being able to sort incoming aliases doesn’t address this, which was the only problem OP was having, but whatever man. Use Proton; I’ll be here when they crash and burn like every other fuckin company that has had their business model before them.

Proton has successfully shilled itself as the go-to alternative when they’re just another shitass company. They’re better than Google, but like congratulations on passing the lowest bar, I guess?
Notice how he recommended Proton mail without addressing any of the issues OP was having. Blind shilling. If this was Reddit, I’d genuinely think he was paid for it, or a bot.

They were told they couldn’t shoot them once they were in the water, so…
You shouldn’t run a honeypot for any other reason than fun and research, but if you’re into either of those, go for it!
nothing else behaves that way.
This is quite wrong, but it doesn’t matter, because if your setup is insecure, then you’ll find out sooner or later anyway. The hacking space is pretty much automated at this point, which is why my honeypot works at all.
Do you also think that anyone who puts Anubis in front of their website is getting the attention of anonymous illuminati master-hackers because it causes their bots to waste a few processing cycles? Tarpitting is no different. If your bot is written poorly, it will get stuck on even legitimate pages.
It does not; tarpitting is a normal practice.
No one sitting on 0days are gonna waste them on randos, and my setup is secure besides. I’ve been doing this, and worse, for years.
lol
Some day I’ll write an article on the selfhosted community
