People are annoyed with this I was already annoyed back in windows xp when I originally switched to Linux.

Yeah I’m only just barely lurking on discord I have no problem leaving.

The problem is I can already here so many people I have spoken with in the past justifying this by saying he was a bad guy. So I don’t actually think ( other than people like me who just like to see the rules followed ) that this will play well for a lot of people.

bro I don’t know what is going on or how to feel. I am confused, shocked, annoyed. I really hope this world can pull through all the weird crap that is happening over the next few years.

I know there is lots of guides and things because for clicks people like to write guides. However all the defaults on mint are sensible. You can pretty much install is stock and be done. You can use these guides if you want but they are optional. You can use flatpak, .deb, snap or whatever else you want to install things. I tend to use .debs when available and flatpaks as my backup. As a Linux user I haven’t had to do all that much tweaking in years to be honest.

You know I stopped at “meta is kicking Australian children” and had a good laugh.
