I prefer oat milk over regular milk in general. I use sugar free oat milk, no name brand. Just make sure to properly shake the container / bottle properly before you pour it in.

It never started to work for me and I tried pretty much every antidepressant on the market. They just put me in Zombie mode and I slept 18+ hours a day. It’s 20 years ago I first tried meds and always waited the recommended amount of time for them to kick in, it just never happened and by now I just say fuck it and try to cope without them.

Frog and Toad are the best!

Our dog sleeps in the bed. She’s tiny, though. Plus she’s fluffy and acts as hot water bottle during cold nights.

I quit Reddit years ago and moved on to the Fediverse. I am deleting my Discord account by the end of this week while moving on to Stoat & Fluxer. Social media is not of any interest to me. When ever a platform becomes unbearable for me to use, I leave and do not look back.

I was kind of stuck on a mountain road in the middle of nowhere and it started raining cats and dogs. The weather and the road conditions made it unsafe for me to continue on foot. I held my thumb out to catch a lift and the first car passing by picked me up. It was a lovely young family with their two children in their van. They asked me where I wanted to go and I told them ‘just down the mountain back to proper roads’, but they insisted to drive me to where I actually needed to go, which was a detour of at least half an hour for them. Great people. :)

I hitchhiked through Ireland about eleven years ago. It’s not that easy to catch a lift in some parts, but I met a lot of lovely people during this little adventure.
