Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•For those of you with a living room or multiple rooms; do you have a TV in your bedroom? Why or why not?
1·5 days agoIt would definitely still have some sort of physical buttons somewhere. We haven’t lost that saving grace yet.
sounds plausible

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Non sports fans is there a sport/aspect or player that you admire or respect for what is required by skill or ability?
2·9 days agoI used to really enjoy watching Tom Brady play for the Patriots. All other football was a boring grind to me after that, and I have lost all interest in sports since. But when Brady ran a play, it was art, and it seemingly almost always worked. I know he’s generally speaking a pretty terrible person, but man that guy was the GOAT quarterback IMHO. I imagine I will catch a lot of derision for my opinion. I don’t think he’s a well-liked individual.

World News@lemmy.world•White House: Reopening Strait of Hormuz Not Vital to Ending Iran WarEnglish
54·11 days agoLeavitt signaled that Trump may achieve those objectives by mid-April. “The Pentagon has always stated four to six weeks as an estimated timeline for Operation Epic Fury,” Leavitt said in the White House briefing room. “We’re on day 30 today—you do the math.”
My math says it’s taking y’all a lot longer than you fooled yourselves into thinking.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Can anyone recommend a small vacuum for cleaning my desk and work area that doesn't break the bank?
2·13 days agoBeen using it for two days now. This thing is almost perfect. Thanks again for the recommendation!

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Can anyone recommend a small vacuum for cleaning my desk and work area that doesn't break the bank?
2·20 days agoThanks, that makes sense for your setup, but I’m specifically trying to find a small vacuum that is actually worth buying. The cheap junk warning is useful; the rest is not really what I’m after!

51·20 days agoFair enough, but I’m not looking for alternative cleaning methods. I’m specifically looking for a small vacuum recommendation. Cheers!

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Would anyone have interest in some sort of label template sharing community, for labelmaker labels?
2·2 months agoIt works with Linux?!?! Sounds like I need to do some investigation myself.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Would anyone have interest in some sort of label template sharing community, for labelmaker labels?
1·2 months agoI’m thinking of starting out in that imadethis community, since I’m already in it, and it’s a nice group, and I doubt there are many of us dorky label people out there. I like to make fun labels for my prescriptions, kitchen spices, etc. working on one now in fact. Will post when I’m done. It’s kicking my butt a little bit, so I’m taking a break.

I use a foil-style electric. No cuts and no irritation. Do NOT use a rotary-style electric. You don’t want a lift and cut system tugging on your short and curlies. If I use a regular 5 blade manual razor, even if I don’t cut myself, I get irritation and itchiness for days after.
