The username is the joke.
I’m not putting in more effort than you clowns unless I feel like it lol

There’s something like 5000 releases on steam a year, mostly indie
Of course most are trash. It’s literally anybody and their mom releasing.
There’s also more amazing games coming out per year than ever. We’ve been in a golden age of releases for a few years now. Feels better than the 90s and early 00s.
So fun. Segregation and rampant racism everywhere.
Some safety equipment encourages accidents.
For bicycles though, can’t really say anything negative about helmets. They save brains.
American Football though? I bet the concussion problem would go away overnight if they took them away. You don’t bash your head against someone unless you think you’re invulnerable thanks to a helmet anyway.

I liked what I could figure out with crosscode. I got to a point where I was stuck and could see no way to progress though, and this was relatively early.
Trailer for this one looks phenomenal. Those animations are awesome.
BAH HAMBOG!

I don’t know the exact reason why, but what i’ve been told is that once you’re known to have overstayed you’re effectively banned from getting another visa to come back in for an amount of time, with that time starting after you are documented as leaving.
I’m pretty sure there’s something that when you overstay a visa, get deported or have some kind of issue you basically can’t get another one for 10 years. If you accrue a debt like medical debt and then leave without paying, the same is true afaik - can’t get in until you pay, and I think the 10 year wait starts when it’s paid in full.
We had a lawyer for my wife’s process and she guided us. It’s been a while, but we submitted our documentation within the timeline of her visa, and the lawyer told us she’s fine to stay even though the visa expires before you really get a response beyond “we received your paperwork” confirming delivery. I think you get a case number with USCIS very early as well. It’s been over 5 years for us at this point and my memory of the specific steps is not great. My wife handled the process for the most part since she couldn’t legally work at all until she got a work authorization a couple of years in.
I think we also were given a warning to not leave after getting married until she got a green card because then they wouldn’t let her back in or give her work authorization until the sponsorship cleared. There were also many extra delays and extra steps added to the whole process during the first trump administration, like the very long wait for work authorizations was not typical (and an obvious attempt at stopping poor immigrants.) I’m not going to lie, I was worried outside of the biden administration about them throwing a wrench into it. Many people mid-process this past year had their visas revoked and were deported even during their final interview or after the interview while going to the swearing in ceremony despite doing nothing wrong, being in the correct process, and already being cleared. Their problem was that they were somali or haitian or from some other vulnerable country with the “wrong” skin color.
I dunno, looks like a Hotdurger to me.

I’ve met multiple people who married immigrants who overstayed their visa and had to deport for something like 5-10 years before being let into the US.
The citizen doesn’t need to leave obviously, but in the multiple cases I’ve personally known dating back to the 90s, the partner leaves the country to be with them until they can come back.
This is however not how it works if you marry someone here on a legitimate visa. Generally after marrying within the timeline of a visa before it expires you can stay with the citizen. My wife did this, and we just finished the process recently. You still need to get your paperwork in, but there’s some kind of grace period due to the marriage physically in the US along with the petition.

I work in IT and when I want to find out what something has, I literally pull up the manual page for the motherboard. It tells you what it is. Sometimes a specifications page for a part is good enough. LLMs like perplexity can get you search results where you can then read for yourself what the actual thing does…
Supermicro X11SSV is probably not a motherboard, I see X11SSV-Q, X11SSV-Q-O, and other variants
The lenovo chromebook should have a specific model too. Search for that.

This doesn’t look slave plantation-y enough.
I also can’t find the pointy white hat.

I skipped the switch 2 despite heavily using the switch 1 for many years, and i’m planning on skipping future iterations of playstations as well. PC has usurped consoles for me entirely.
Even couch gaming on linux is better than a console. I’m all set. The deck or it’s equivalents handles any handheld gaming I want to do and it’s trivial to stream locally if I don’t want to have a gaming computer near my tv.
Oh, and i’ve ditched microsoft controllers to. 3rd party quality is phenomenal nowadays and it’s not limited to any one brand. I have this flydigi and 8bitdo stuff that all feel amazing and are more reliable than microsoft’s own and are cheaper with more features. It’s so nice not being dependent on overpriced garbage!

You could do far worse. It’s surprisingly smooth and still looks phenomenal.

Or is it a charge on a magnetic medium somewhere?
It’s just all weird when you get down to the science.

Makes sense. It takes years to complete construction projects and budgets always overrun. AI is a fad for most companies trying to get into it.
Think about the dotcom bubble. We went from having all of these businesses that shot to the moon for valuation… and then it collapsed. Feels exactly the same. A few will survive to become metas and googles because it is not a worthless technology, but most of them are going to be worthless companies when investors decide it’s time to run.

I’m not sure if I should upvote or downvote.
This is supposed to be wrong answers but…

This game runs and looks amazing on the deck. For a while it was given the black “unsupported” mark on the deck because the deck didn’t support the multiplayer mode, so they literally broke off the MP as free dlc. They definitely put work in to make it look and run wonderfully just for the deck though and it shows.
Wasn’t super impressed though past the visuals. Nothing pulls me back to this game. Formula just feels flat.
Corn. 🌽

My wife is up to 800 hours with this game across half a dozen saves. She’s doing a completionist run right now that’s about 200 hours in, getting close.
Kind of amazing how much depth there is in this game and little hidden things that you’d never find unless you REALLY put time into it.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse, now they will literally have performance metrics for all employees. Prepare to see non-executive white collar jobs turn into minimum wage slogfests where you’re pruned if even 10% of your time is idle.
