I’m in one of the data annotation projects for this. It’s a dumpster fire.

It’s one of the reasons I still keep a few reddit accounts but I’ve come to the same conclusions. Nobody listens. They’d rather mental gymnastic their way around the contradictions before their very eyes than see the plain truth that reddit is a hive of right wing troll jobs.

Corporate malpractice doesn’t seem to register with a certain percentage of the population. Not unless they experience direct harm from it.
Perhaps because those people would do the same if they were in Zucks position.
It reminds me of a study I read a long time ago where students from certain fields had different interpretations of what’s construed as lying or cheating. I remember they found that business students have a much lower bar for what’s considered right and wrong.
STEM students had a much higher bar. These days I find it hard to believe tech would fit among that group anymore.

This could be a blessing in disguise. He called Biden a retard on Monday. He’s now upped the threats a notch.
Could be he got some very bad health news from Walter Reed medical over the weekend.
America was isolationist until they were dragged kicking and screaming into the war. Churchill was regularly crossing the Atlantic to beg Roosevelt to try to garner enough support to join the war. The American people did not care. The majority were against joining the war.
All the same today, The majority of Americans either support MAGA or are indifferent. Short of some great personal injury such as a Pearl Harbor type event, Americans will continue to be as they are.
The idea that Americans were anti-fascist heroes is propaganda. They were only angry that they got got by Japan.
Search public housing projects america. You’ll find similar photographs.

The difference was hundreds of MB, but when you’re working with 8GB every bit counts. At that time KDE had an edge over Gnome. At some point the difference wasn’t there anymore.
I was rationing what software I had open so as to avoid hitting swap because that’s when there’s a noticeable lag. Gnome was worse at recovering from that.

8GB was barely enough 10 years ago. That’s when I switched to Arch+KDE. Then KDE started using more. memory.

The difference in attitudes from a decade ago is 180 degrees backwards. Young people and academics are where revolutions begin or end. Those people have been demoralized and pacified.

Kind of tangential to the topic but reddit has been appropriating user names for celebrities and companies. The first known instance (as far as I know) was u/borat. I was surprised thiskind of thing wasn’t a bigger deal.
I wouldn’t be surprised if u/paulmccartney is such a case. A basic name that’s only a 5 year old account. No way nobody grabbed that before.

It makes more sense when viewed as a fancy autocomplete, not an intelligence. There’s no intelligence behind it that is reading your statement and understanding your meaning. It’s responding with text that mathematically likely matches some sort of reply that would fit your statement.
Your statement included Y and the algorithm landed on result that includes Y. There’s no intelligence that could understand that you meant no Y.
That bullshit about the model getting fine tuned just means they are data mining you. It doesn’t make the more LLM intelligent. All it does is add your data to their dataset of which the LLM can draw from for possible future replies. The fundamental limitations of the technology still exists.

That’ll happen when your IT systems are no longer guarded by the woke femboys and furries.

More like they’ll persecute you for being a pedo. The go to move for these chuds is to accuse others of their own crimes.
Boomers and Gen-X were the architects of the early digital era. Gen-X gets lumped in with Boomers because kids are dogshit at telling age. Older == Boomer to them. Boomers are the villain so we shall not give them credit for anything. That’s forbidden.
Millennials were too young to be able to make their mark on the early digital world. Millennials largely architected the social media era platforms by the time the generation came of age. This will never be in conversation because Millennials can do no wrong.

For some reason the benchmark is always the highest cost of living cities in America.
Maybe the ones obsessed with making it to the top in those cities are the most vocal online. I don’t know but it’s weird how that is.

They’re not reading but looking for keywords. People with low literacy do that.

Those are a fraction of a percent of reviewers. The issue predates YouTube. The days when it was only written articles was no different. They are at the mercy of not being shit listed by companies.

I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s a choice between what problems I want to deal with that are specific to the particular brand.
Some may or may not even be real issues I’ll ever encounter. It’s impossible to tell because nobody talks straight.

This is generally the implication with reviewers. You better not be too honest or you’re not getting any more review samples. Never trust reviewers. Not even the dude that’s supposedly reputable. They all know the game. Use the review to see the hardware and the basic functionality. Ignore everything else.
3D printing is particular bad though. I’ve been perusing this hobby for the past few years without buying a printer. There’s so much shit surrounding this particular topic. The communities are all militant about brands too.
Anyone remember Dr. John Campbell on Youtube. He got popular by posting videos during COVID. Then veered off into full blown anti-vax conspiracies.
He’s a “doctor” because he has a PhD in making Youtube videos. No, seriously. His doctorate thesis is based on using Youtube as a teaching method. He’s not a real medical doctor.
His bullshit antics prompted actual doctors and scientistics to regularly post their own videos response.
