That’s a problem with everything though. No matter what definition for something you come up with, even if most of population agrees with it, you’d have aggresively vocal minority that will try and push it other way to conform it to their perception/goals etc.

Straight means that, for example, as a man you are sexually attracted only to women. Already met people who dragged it into the “feminine people” camp instead and people who dragged it into “feminine women” camp. Tried commands, tried proton experimental, tried gametime or whatever it’s called, tried switching dx’s and all that. And yeah, used proprietary, except on cachyOS which I believe supports my hardware out of the box.

And honestly, I didn’t need co.mand line for anything when I tried and. Spent a week on it, made it mirror more or less my wi dows config software wise.

Only thing that, except gaming, pissed me off is Linux not being able to read my portable HDD. “Yadda yadda, suprblocm damaged, yadda yadda”.

Windows, seemingly, didn’t get the memo as it opens it without a problem.

Not exactly potato, but my performance on Linux sucks ass and I believe it’s mostly due to drivers. I am mainly gaming as of now, so not running games I can run on Windows is no go.

GTX 750 + i-4460. So yeah, low end but servicable…on windows. Tried Linux Mint, Nobara and CachyOS. My benchmark was Fallout 76 and Hogwarts Legacy. On windows both work. On Linux, no matter the distro, Hogwarts dies pre “press start” and F76 blinks, lags and freezes. In both cases after I already set settings as low as I could, lot lower than Windows.

Oh and yeah I tried various fixes and tricks, used both steam proton and GE, tried to adjust commands. Nothing worked. And all I am asking for is to match windows performance.

Tried to. It doesn’t like my pc. Not buying new rig for it. Win 10 LTSC it is. ^^

Good news! It’s prolly not. In an interview I’ve read quite some time ago, creators said that they hit a silly problem of not having path of improving the game because everything works and…well, not much to add.

So instead they experiment slightly with each version, making small changes every time to create another “flavor” of Civ.

Recently watched random vid and creator said he’s gotta be careful because, drums…youtube added a strike to video for adult content.

AI chatbots work as customer side if implemented well (if chatbot does not have options, it won’t work well) and if customers don’t knee-jerk into repeating they want human without checking it’s options first (which, understandably, came from dealing with badly implemented chatbots). Their search is quite alright for polling public opinions (useful for example if you are lazy and wanna find overall popular film from some genre - it can summarise reddit, google, few review sites and spit the effects at you).

Friend, I love KCD with all my heart, all I am pointing out is that you are suggesting marathon to someone who ran hundred meters with that jump from Skyrim to KCD xD

Absolutely brutal learning curve, no power tripping until late game, requiring player to get good at the same time as character, no QoL features, in-built survival…

Skyrim is a power fantasy casual RPG. KCD is medieval immersion sim with RPG elements.

And crafting in KCD only has Alchemh and fixing stuff, whereas Skyrim has blacksmithing, alchemy and enchanting, each with skill tree.

Oh my god. Suggesting KCD to someone as next game after Skyrim has to be some kind of sadism xD But yeah, KCD is a great game, just…IMO not really anywhere genre-wise near Skyrim except for open world.
