What a terrible day to be literate

Kinda defeats the purpose of a media server built to be used by multiple people

Diversity has increased by a lot. It’s not just circlejerking about Linux anymore. Only positives in my book.

Okay but I can just drag a tab out into a second window and have the same result. What’s the point?

CEOs are a plague

Yeah that’s true but it’s really just a method to run a more complex userscript, which isn’t really comparable to the element blocking rules that uBlock normally handles.

Sorry but that’s just wrong. Ads on Twitch are forced in a way that can’t be easily bypassed locally. That’s why stuff like Twitch AdSolutions exists. The common workaround is using a proxy server in countries that don’t get ads, maybe you live in one of those.

Yeah but uBlock can’t or at least doesn’t block Twitch ads, so that doesn’t really apply here.

One day I’ll have the courage to directly shut people like that down. Without being condescending or making a scene but just being clear that I’m not interested.

It does have a lot of improvements but sadly literally falls flat on what made the first one so enjoyable to me. I loved having to think about my routes and using tools in order to traverse a train that was not made for traversal. Now everything basically has a more or less direct walking path. You get the truck very early on and it will be your do-it-all almost the whole way through. I bought a PS5 just to play this game early and I haven’t even finished it.
Mono block units are, yeah. However some split units have appeared on the market in recent years and they are great for people who rent an apartment without any AC. I bought a Midea PortaSplit last year and it’s amazing.

Almost as if intent matters

This is not a proper test. Windows does optimizations on the first few boots which makes the startup take longer. As it’s not mentioned in the video, we have to assume this was not accounted for, which completely invalidates the results.

I love Voicemeeter so much, it’s definitely one of the tools keeping me on Windows.

Well yeah it’s still the best IDE for the JVM around, but I’m really not happy how their focus shifted towards AI and other useless features like themes that waste more space and take control elements away by default. Enshittification is happening, and it makes me think about cancelling my personal subscription.

I have multiple compose stacks with one folder each, and they also contain all the bind volumes and any other extra files needed.
The difference is that my friends get a lot of value out of my server, as they don’t need to use any technology they’re unfamiliar with.
