If USA chooses to put boots on the ground, I am 99% confident it will go very badly for USA, and I am also confident the US generals know that too. If USA put boots on the ground I bet it’s because they are ordered to by the administration, against the advise of military experts. Usually when USA does that, they have complete air supremacy, and they have way more troops than what AFAIK is available ATM. I also think USA lacks defenses against FPV drones and maybe even artillery fire, and that would probably be the most logical responses from Iran. In previous wars where USA has been very successful, that was all taken out before land troops were applied.

This is an asymmetric war, and I don’t think there is any real way USA and Israel can win that. Iran is not seeking a military victory, they are seeking to damage the US economy.

As a European and USA being the major part in saving us from Nazism in WW2, and the Marshall help after, we tended to believe in USA as a force for good. And the moon landing in 69 demonstrated the American superiority at the time. So we chose to support the American global dominance because we had similar ideals of democracy and human rights. In EU today respecting human rights is even part of the requirements to be a member. Unfortunately USA has forgotten the ideals, and are now using their strength exclusively to serve the interests of the 1%.

Of course it’s not everybody, but there’s a lot of it. I can’t even say the example with Iranian terrorists is hyperbole, because although most would obviously not support terrorists, I have seen things quite similar to it occur here.
An example could be the case where Iran would bomb a 100% civilian data center was generally celebrated here. Not that I was one bit better, because honestly I don’t think that data center has any value to the people. But in principle it remains wrong, but on the other hand USA deserves to be taught a lesson.
Clearly there’s a difference between an opinion and facts. And although my opinion may not always align with higher ideals, because you may need to break some eggs to make an omelet, but our opinions should at least be based on the truth. And the truth is it was NOT UAE that tortured and killed a journalist, it was Saudi Arabia, and nobody should be downvoted for posting facts IMO.

USA no longer deserves to be the financial center of the world they’ve been for many years.
Gold reserves, petro dollar, global reserve currency, and as collateral damage, the continued flood of brain power coming from around the world will stop. It will all collapse because the American population is too stupid to elect an even somewhat sensible government.
