Warehousing people like they are expired Amazon returns is absolutely ghoulish. We are talking about facilities twice the size of the biggest federal prisons, tucked away in industrial parks where nobody can see what is actually happening inside. The fact that ICE is just dropping 70 million dollars on these sites without even bothering to tell the local city officials is a massive red flag.

It is honestly dystopian. You have got companies with Navy contracts running these places like logistics hubs instead of treating people like human beings. They are basically building private cities for detention with zero oversight. Calling it “economic development” is a sick joke when all it does is funnel tax money into massive government contractors while keeping families and lawyers miles away from the people stuck inside.

And that ICE spokesperson calling everyone “criminals” to justify it? Give me a break. This is not about safety, it is about a massive expansion of a system that is already broken and cruel. We should not be scaling this up, we should be tearing it down.
