This year I try to stop this. Went 2 months without buying a single game. I have an absurd amount of games and the list of games i actually want to play is so large it would still take years to complete.

I can’t remember if I ever bought a NES game but I know I bought the SNES with turtles in time with my own allowance money when I was like 8 or 9. First PC games was Theme park and Transport tycoon deluxe bought at the same time.

Taking the bus. Just sitting and being able to have my thoughts for myself. Also walking.

Computer games but I really need to play less digital games and more analog games instead. Both have an enormous backlog but at least I have stopped buying more… Digital games.

Wish my friends would like to play more games like this. With that said it is best played in short bursts for sure.

I bought some expensive ram back when i bought my current CPU to maximize Factorio and that was about 200 €. Don’t even want to know how much it would be today. Also cheaped out and bought 16Gb ram for my home automation server last summer for less than 50€. Regrets hits me now as more would totally be better.

Did a long trip on a train once and did just this. Started the trip late in the day, woke up almost at the destination. Was great!

I do both sides of this at my work, both office and do real work. I keep telling the guys who don’t do the office part that they are the ones that should earn the most. Most of them are old and just think they are fine as is sadly. This mentality is sad imo.

If this is the only games you look at, yeah. Looking forward to another year of loads of indie games.

I feel the same. I am so tired of AAA games that I barely even look at them any more and I play a lot of games.

Are you okay? I don’t either want to experience this but… Just checking.

Because form and function is not the same thing. I don’t look at the controller while playing just like I dont give a damn how my keyboard look as long as it feels good and does what it is supposed to do.

I am European but no. That would increase the price and i believe valve wants to sell as cheap as possible.

This. It costs more but you will have a controller that will last years. Have used 8bitdo pro2 for a couple of years after rage quitting the Nintendo pro whatever it is named to switch for its worthless d-pad. Recently picked up a 8bitdo pro3 and yes, it cost a lot but it will probably be my only controller for many years now. Buying something that breaks after a year will cost you more in the long run. It’s expensive to be cheap.
